In his speech, the Secretary of Jayawijaya extended congratulations to GKI on its 67th anniversary. He also expressed appreciation for the commencement of the construction of the new pastor's house for the GKI Lachairoi congregation.
"At the age of 67, we must all unite and serve each other as God's congregation, both in Papua and in the GKI Baliem Yalimo Classis," said the Secretary.
He emphasized that the presence of GKI in Papua is a blessing from God. While people once lived in sin and did not know each other, everything has changed through God's power and the ministry of GKI.
"Now we can see the children of God born from the ministry of GKI; they sit with us and become a blessing," he added.
The Secretary also hoped that the construction of the pastor’s house would become a symbol of unity for all God's people.
"Let us unite in building. Do not focus on who contributes the most, but let us give with faith so that this project can be completed," he concluded.
